The Burin Area Food Pantry Annual General Meeting(AGM) is scheduled for Sunday April 19,2026 4:30PM at Burin Senior Citizens 50+ Club
The Burin Area Food Pantry Inc. is a group of volunteers working together to address food insecurity in Burin and the surrounding area.
We rely on individuals, community organizations and businesses to support us in raising funds and collecting food donations to distribute to residents of Burin, Mortier-Fox Cove, Lewins Cove, Epworth, Little St. Lawrence, St. Lawrence, Lawn, Winterland, Garnish, and Frenchman's Cove.
The Burin Area Food Pantry Inc. was incorporated in April 2022, and received Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Charitable Status in May 2022. An official receipt is provided for all donations received. We also have a food establishment license through inspection by Service NL, and are currently in the process of applying for accreditation status through Food Banks Canada.
